A plane colliding with a tricycle? Yes, it can happen. Yes, it already did happen!

I was enjoying my superbly brewed coffee, courtesy of bunn coffee makers when I saw a hilarious headline in my daily newspaper. A Cessna 152 actually collided with a tricycle. How did that happen? The Cessna, with an instructor and a student on board, was making a landing when a tricycle suddenly appeared in the runway. The plane clipped the trike but there is no report about any casualty about the passengers. The plane’s pilot and passenger however, are both hurt.

Because of global warming, the dry spells seem to be longer, the wet seasons seem to bring a lot more rain and the winters are most especially cold. In the Philippines, the former president, who’s accused of massive electoral cheating and believed to be on her way to massive plunder cases tried to convince the people and the judiciary that she’s very sick and must seek foreign treatment. Eventually, her doctors testified that she’s very OK and on her way to full recuperation. I think that that would have admitted that she’s overstaying at the expensive hospital had the prosecution asked.

Today, she’s trying to convince the masses that there’s a serious plan to have her killed. The thing is, they won’t reveal anything beyond such a claim. Do we believe it?

Also known as LIB or li ion batteries, the lithium battery is very popular nowadays. In my house alone, I can count our 4 digital cameras, various remote controls and perhaps our mobile phones as gadgets being powered by Li ion batteries. One good thing about this type of battery over the old NiCad that I am used to is that it has no memory effect and therefore, can be charged any time. I hope that the next battery technology would be a month long battery on a single charge for my android phone. Running multiple applications at a time can really discharge my batteries fast.

The ride was nice and made nicer by the polaris rzr accessories. Last weekend, we went on an adventure in Boracay, the world famous beach. Other than the usual snorkeling, sun bathing and swimming, we went on an ATV ride from a takeoff point all the way to a mountain top where we can see most of the island. On the way back, we passed by the beautiful butterfly sanctuary and had fun taking photos. Oh, they have a huge but friendly bat that gamely poses with visitors. Visit the place whenever you have time and you’ll enjoy it.

La flor dominicana double ligero chisel reminds me of Jose Rizal who’s celebrating his 150th birthday today. With his execution happening in a few hours, he wrote;

“Adios Patria adorada (farewell my adored fatherland) …”

in a poem entitled “Mi unltimo Adios (My last farewell)”.

What not many people know is that the poem was translated to Bahasa (Indonesian language) and soldiers constantly read and carried it with them during the Indonesian revolution. Cool, eh!!

Here's the entire poem and below that is the English translation of "Mi Ultimo Adios"

Adios, Patria adorada, region del sol querida,
Perla del Mar de Oriente, nuestro perdido Eden!

If he is in the East Coast, he would probably be admitted to california treatment centers. However, the guy is in Sydney and I am not sure if he is an alcoholic. In Australia, there’s this guy who taunted a shark in shallow waters and within a short distance from a lot of people. In a decision that took 45 minutes to read, Philippine Congressman Ronald Singson was sentenced in Hongkong to 18 months in jail for illegally bringing in drugs that were determined by the judge to be for personal use.

However, Singson will be classified as a drug trafficker for HK laws define illegal exportation of drugs into the former colony as trafficking.

Under Hong Kong law, bringing drugs into the territory can be defined as trafficking, regardless of the purpose. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment and a fine of 5 million Hong Kong dollars ($640,000). - PDI

The Philippine congress however, is yet to decide on what to do with him. That is a very bad example considering that Singson had made a guilty plea several weeks ago. Foot dragging in this instance shows the lawmakers fear or bias in favor of Singson.

I need to install a powerful design software in reviewing my designers’ proposed designs and I will need to edit them myself in order to get my ideas into the final design. Before you board a plane, you should choose from the proposed term life insurance rates by various insurance companies and get a policy. Just recently, a lady boarded a plane and reached her destination safely. The problem is, the arrival happened shortly after midnight and she was asleep.
