Discipline.. Dude!

A lot of people go on diet but very few actually succeed. And those who actually do succeed are successful only for a brief period and eventually revert back to their old size and weight and.. it sometimes get worse!

Nutrition counseling is something that people wanting to lose or gain weight needs. The counselors can guide the people needing weight loss or weight gain to act with discipline that will enable them to attain and maintain their ideal size and weight.

Know Where My Place Is

I am considering now whether I would buy a new house address plaque, one that would match the new color of my house’s paint. 

 

In Egypt, a few decades ago, there is this guy who climbed the pyramid in 3 minutes. Being a tour guide, he got ribbed a lot by tourists who place money bets that he cannot replicate the feat. Since he had done the running several times, he naturally won all bets and made a lot of money.

Now, that's one guy who wouldn't want people to miss his address. Every visitor that he takes to the pyramid means money and most probably, they would make the same bet as the thousands of others and lose.

Conning the Cons

One nice thing that a parent can do for their sons is to buy them revell model cars. If you want a model car that is beautifully done and durable enough to be become a good collectible, this model car brand is good. 

Going through the news, there is this Australian woman who conned con artists. A group of Nigerian cons defrauded unsuspecting people of about US $33,000. The Aussie lady made a deal to receive conned money in her account and she is to transfer the loot to the Nigerians in return for a percentage commission for laundering the dirty money. The thing is, the lady kept it all to herself. Is that poetic justice? I don’t want to judge anybody, baby!

Lousy Coffee

In the Philippines, KFC has started selling coffee. At the price of P50 for a small capuccino, it's more than US$1.00 with the exchange rate of P42 to $1.00.

The quality however, is something to talk about. The coffee sucks in time!

Personal Finance Strategy

A lot of people need good debt advice in order to keep them on top. My personal strategy is to list down my monthly income and plan my expenses based on the required savings. If any necessary but unplanned expense ever comes up, it normally means that I have to delete some of the planned expense or at least postpone spending on it. The trick is to spend only within the budget on a monthly basis.
